Socio-emotional competencies in family, school and work: seminar with Prof. Aurelija Stelmokiene

On May 26-27, 2026, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Room G.125 San Carlo, Largo A. Gemelli 1, Milan) hosted the seminar "Socio-emotional competencies and the value of their development: family, school, work", organized by the PhD Programme in Person and Formation Sciences of the Faculty of Education, the Department of Psychology, and CeRiToM.

Guest speaker for both days was Professor Aurelija Stelmokiene of Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania), who explored socio-emotional competencies and the value of their development across key life contexts: family, school, and work. The first day was opened by Professor Antonella Marchetti, Coordinator of the PhD Programme, with discussion and conclusions led by Professor Davide Massaro and Dr. Federico Manzi; the second day was introduced by Professor Davide Massaro, Didactic Coordinator of the PhD Programme, with discussion and conclusions led by Dr. Federico Manzi. The seminar offered PhD students and researchers an opportunity for international exchange on a crucial dimension of psychological development across the life-span.
